Guest guest
Hey Newbies! Just wanted to say welcome to the most wonderful support group in the World!! Here we have many topics and some don't even relate to Fibromyalgia. We all have a great time communicating with each other and have become friends with all of them. We keep each other in our thoughts and our prayers. SO WELCOME!!! Feel free to ask questions, vent or just jump right into a topic that is already started. We look forward to hearing from all of you. Guest guest
Debra, I have to second your welcome to all of the newbies!! But I am not so certain that some of the " off topic " discussions are not related to fibro. I know that my weight which is why I can't find the right bra sizes is a result of some of the side effects of the fibro!! Can I vent here??? My DH is home for lunch as he most often is, but his hearing has become so bad that he has his small radio turned up sooooo loud the guy mowing the lawn next door can probably hear it!! Oh, I spoke too soon! He just asked me if it was too low, I guess he forgot I was sitting here!!! But I do want to second that welcome to all NEWBIES!! > > Hey Newbies! My wife has a hearing loss after using cranking up the stereo full blast with a pair of headphones on, in an attempt to escape her abusive mother's scalding words. Styx's " Rocking the Paradise " at a 10 setting may have been a virtual live concert, but spread out over a period of several years and you have to pay the piper. I know about her hearing loss and rather than get frustrated about it, it turns into a running gag: Hunh-Hunh-Hunh " It's 1-800-Bell-Tone Grandma " My wife has already seen a hearing specialist and was told that hearing aids would not correct the loss.
