Guest guest
Debra, Not sure about the veins - but would the thing with your wrist and hand have anything to do with maybe a pinched nerve in your neck? I've been told by doctors that your hands can be affected by different nerves in your neck that control your arms and hands. Had any neck problems? Or what about the tips of your fingers tingling? Teri (central Wisconsin) New symptoms- Please read. What the heck???? I just thought I would share with you some things that have been going on. The very WIERDEST is that the other day at work I was writing with an ink pen and my right wrist decided it would jerk involuntarily and an ink line went across the paper. It was so strange. It just had a involuntary movement of some kind. I believe I have had similar things happen in the past when I would drop something. I was never sure but it seemed like my hand or arm would just fling something out of my hand. Ok and the electric shocks are back in my hands. At times when I am doing something or grabbing an object, my hand will get an electrical shock sensation and it HURTS.. feels like I just put my hand in a light socket??? It just goes through like lightening for a second or so and goes away. Also... something about my back. I have some veins in my lower back that look like varicose veins and my lower back has been KILLING me especially at work. I had some of the nurse aids and another nurse look at it and they said " damn, you have a big old vein popping out of your back " . I don't think that is fibro. But I don't know what to make of it. love and hugs, Debra V.
Guest guest
Wow, that big old vein sounds weird...perhaps you should have a doctor check that one out. I'd hate to have it explode on you.....that is odd. I have noticed that my writing is not like it used to be. Having gone to a Catholic school for 12 years, penmanship was a big thing, I have always had nice writing, but the hands don't do what they are supposed to sometimes. /Mi New symptoms- Please read. Guest guest
Sounds to me that you need to get to the dr. Your hand sounds like a pinched nerve and the " varicose veins " on your back, I have never heard of. So, please get yourself checked out as soon as possible. Guest guest
Hi Debra, Well, I have pinched nerves from 13 herniated disks, and I can definitely tell you that the tingling can skip the arm and go straight to the hands and/or fingers. It all depends on which vertebrae and which nerves are affected. As for the varicose veins, years ago my acupuncturist noticed I had a lot of varicose veins in my lower back and she thought my blood was stagnant (or something like that). She asked if I got my periods regularly--I didn't, but had figured it was due to my health and/or weight issues. Well, she gave me some Traditional Medicines brand Cir-Q. Over the next couple of months, the veins went away and my periods became regular again. (Traditional Chinese Medicine is slow working.) Don't know if it would help you, but might be worth checking out. Pielet > > I just thought I would share with you some things that have been going on.
