Guest guest
Good advice can often come from the simplest sources. I don't have a diploma, or degree to impress anyone with but have to rely on life experience to deal with issues. I tried out several counselors in the past and determined that their textbook or official outline of treatment was useless to my situation, particularly when I gave them a taste of my childhood " demons in the closet " abuse. I ended up teaching these " Professionally Licensed " counselors concepts , like " demons in the closet " as opposed to " skeletons in the closet " . I told the last one that " demons in the closet " are current, powerful, and unresolved issues. Skeletons in the closet are past, dead, issues that have been addressed at some point. After paying my $47.50 for an hours session, I wondered who was counseling who.
