Guest guest
This is a very touch subject for me. I am a 24 hour caregiver for my son that was injured in a motorcycle wreck 3 1/2 years ago. There are many many days that all I want to do is just crawl in my bed & stay there (even tho that makes me hurt more) but I know I can't do that. Now my hubby has also been told that he has fibro & of course it is MUCH worse than mine & he just can't help me with most of the time. As I write this he is in bed & I have been up since 7 or so. Never thought about throwing rocks at the dumpster but then that requires energy. I am going to try & get out & pull weeds if I can find some energy. It is amazing how therapeutic weed pulling can be-imagine that the weeds are the people or problems that are ticking u off & pull their heads off! Just kidding sorta Kitty in WTX
Guest guest
Kitty, seriously think about looking into some help with your son's health care. Even if it's one afternoon off a week, you need some " Kitty Time " in the mix somewhere. There may be a local volunteer program that can help take some of the load off, like house work, or grocery shopping.
