Guest guest
I used to wear a braclet that was supposedly electro/magnetic, don't remember if it made much difference in pain levels. On the other hand I was working at the loony bin and have no way to really judge if it was effective or not. I was reminded of that work place when I had the appointment with the eye doctors this past week. I saw one of my former co-workers while there and she said it has not changed; seemed to me it was even worse. Her father had driven her to the doctor and he and I spoke when they called her to see the doctors. He said that is now, at times so cold in that office, that there are times when she can't use the computer (probably the phone, also) because her fingers are so stiff. And it also sounds as if it will be even more difficult to get to and from the office buildings as supposedly two schools are to be built in the area. Which may finally force the tightwad owners to cut another road out of the complex!!! 's dad said he believes that schools are required to have two exits from their location. One reason I quit working there was that I could not get to physcial therapy because of the traffic; then after I quit, I was always falling or missing the bottom step on the stairs! -- And, Ladies and Gentleme(a?)n, I fell again last night as I was going UP THE STAIRS!! Will be so glad when we move to the new house which is all on one level!!! > > I just found this on the CNN web page! They are wanting research done on electro-magnetic therapy instead of taking medication. There was already a comment agreeing with the writer and I left one disagreeing with the writer. Do research on this when WE suffer with Fibromyalgia????? > Debra B > > > ----- Forwarded Message ---- > From: " dirkfan2@... Guest guest
I don't like the prospect of using people as " lab rats " or taking " short cuts " through living tissue when there are other proven and well documented treatments already in place. Regarding Electromagnetic Therapy, some people have reported a reduction in the depression symptoms. My wife being one of them after receiving an MRI. I had some additional clarity but it was short lived after an MRI to my neck. Electromagnetic therapy bringing the brainwaves back into balance sounds very enstien-ish and doctors are really going to have to prove their case on this one. (I just woke up after a bad night and am not fully functional yet)
