Cassandra,

I hope Sohpia and her mum are doing well....Let us know, ok?

Also, I'm so glad you told us your name because (besides you feel comfortable

with us now) you actually signed a couple of your emails with Cassandra. When

you introduced yourself, I thought your first name was Wenzdai. I was so worried

because it went back and forth from Wenzdai to Cassandra and I was beginning to

wonder if you had mulitple personalities. I didn't know what to say in case it

was the wrong thing or I completely missed something. I'm so relieved that

you're just Cassandra.............I hope you find this funny....you need a good

laugh!

Just a litle babble and rant by Cassandra

Okay, Wenzdai is a cute screen name but I feel accepted enough to tell you my

name is

Cassandra. Thank you to all who have been praying for my " Baby Girl " , Sophia

and her

Mum.

My muscle pain and extreme weakness continues to be in remission through day

four now.

Last time (Dec-Jan?) it lasted three weeks and I would love to be relatively

pain free that

long again. Turns out the severe frontal headache, face and eye pain,

senitivity to light,

earache and sore throat are all from a severe sinus infection. Went to the new

PCP, she

gave me double script for zithromax to knock out the infection and said I

shoud feel a

little better in a few days and 100% (regarding the sinuses) in a month. She

also made a

skeptical face when I mentioned weenie-Drs evaluation (the one that concluded

I have

Chronic Pain Syndrome, not fibro, and that I am to have no pain meds- even

over the

counter- and must be treated by a Pain Psychologist) and she said " Let's not

go there. "

Then

she assured me that she would look for a pain med that won't interact with

Lithium And

that she would do some research and see if there are any indicators for fibro

that would

show up in

blood chemistry. This is still the good part, I am not yet begun on the

babbling and

ranting.

Now I will begin to babble and if my strength doesn't give out I will move on

to ranting.

Babbling- get that sudden feeling like you don't know up from down and then if

you don't

grab something (or get rescued by somone) you are flat on your back on the

floor in the

store, or at the bus stop, or in the post office? I know it's not low blood

sugar or an inner

ear infection or even Vertigo (that feels differant.) Nausea-not associated

with food,or lack

thereof, and not caused by anxiety--anyone else? Suddenly feel unbearably hot

when

everyone else is fine?- Talking to the guys especialy here; any woman over 35

can quite

properly claim it as a hot flash or power surge. Done babbling for now--

proceede to rant.

Last night I visited the site " (Your State).Gov " and looked up how to file a

complaint against

a Dr. It was quite easy, but time comsuming as I had to find all dates etc. I

filed a

complaint against MRS DR Weenie, for unethical beh including conflict of

interest and

verbal and emotional abuse. All I had to do was fill in all the details on a

form and e-mail

it to the licensing board.

Today again. Manoman this was bad. Saw my shrink, who i love, and she was so

mean and

dismissive about me wanting a fibro eval. I can't even go into the things she

said because

it was so painful emotionaly. She said my pain is psychological. I have tosee

the pain

psychologist. Would love to rant about it

to you all but i am getting acid reflux at the mere thought.

She didn't even acknowledge that this week marks the third anniversary of the

death of

our dear friend, and my PCP of seven years, Deb McMahon NP. Deb died from

complications to RA.

PEACE

Wenzdai

(okay folks, cut it out, this is getting out of hand)

And what's up with these new nutterbutter cookies that are round, not shaped

like a

peanut?

Hi Cassandra,

I really hope that you stay relatively pain free for the three weeks that you

did before. I'm glad you are having this respite. I'm sorry about your sinus

infection. At least it's something that goes away with treatment unlike our

other illness.

It sounds like the new PCP is on top of things. I'm glad she is looking from

a pain med for you. I hope she finds one before you pain comes back - if it

does.

Your psych doctor surely didn't react well to the pain med news. I now how

frustrating it is to be told that the pain is all in your head. My psychiatrist

believes most of it is from depression, although he does believe in Fibromyalgia

and keeps up on the treatments for it.

I have had the feeling you described. I don't know what it is from, but it is

really scary. I can catch myself if there is something to hold onto when I

first feel it coming on.

I hope you got some rest. Take care,

Marti
