Guest guest
Thanks to all of you who responded, but I think I am going to tell her I will give her a loan that has to be paid back as soon as she makes a commission from one of her real estate listings or in small payment till she gets a commission then it will be fully due. I have to think about how I am going to structure the note. I am going to tell her she will have to sign an agreement like any other note for a personal loan spelling out all the terms. That way, it is not me just " giveng " her money, but she will have to pay it back and perhaps take some of the presure off her. And she will not have to feel like it is " Mom " taking care of things. Jean

She's too sick to juggle it and get it straight anyway. Make sure the written deal is solid, maybe throw in " dont' screw w/me again or you lose your built-in babysitter! Just joking. Guest guest
I just want to say thanks for the prayers, my granddaughter made it through the surgery with flying colors, and was home by noon, when my son took her older sister home, he said she was running around like a chicken with its head cut off!!!! lol as far as my day went, we never made it to spread my moms ashes over her parents grave, I just couldn't do it, I guess it is still to fresh and opening her urn would be like opening a wound and pouring salt into it, as my sister said just because the calender says it has been a year, doesn't mean our hearts say that, and maybe I will be able to do it as time goes on, but just not right now! thanks so much for listening to me vent and for the prayers you guys are awsome people and I'm so glad that I joined the group when i did!!!!!BIG HUGS to you all always, Leanne
Guest guest
Leanne, I'm glad you granddaughter is doing fine Don't feel bad about not spreading your mom's ashes yet. My mom died 3 1/2 yrs ago and I can not bring myself to do it yet either. If you do it before YOU'RE ready, it's just going to make your grieving process harder and flare up your fibro. I'm sure your mom more than understands! When you are ready, you will do what you want with the ashes. Unless it was her wishes to have them scattered, then why don't you just keep them with you?
