Why do you have to give up your hydrocodone if you go on Lyrica? The two of

them together might bring you a lot of relief. Lyrica is actually an

anti-seizure med, not a narcotic or opioid. If your pain is not being managed

by just hydrocodone, you should give Lyrica a try. It works really well for

some people. Cymbalta (an antidepressant) also helps a lot of people with their

pain.

Debra. when you try the lyrica could you please tell me how it makes you feel,

I soooo don't want to give up my hydrocodone. I am so afaraid to try new stuff.

Morphine and Oxycotin I won't take and the Methadone I tried put me in la la

land. I did lose weight while on it as i was no longer hungry nor would I talk.

I was like a zombie. What would be some good stuff to try?

Just took my first dose this morning. It is ok. I don't really feel the

effects I was afraid I would. I am really just more relaxed than anything. It

has not made me trip or stagger or anything. Of course, all of us are

different. I have a pretty high tolerance for just about any medication I have

ever tried. I will keep you posted. And the doc did not take away my

hydrocodone.
