Guest guest
Hi Nice to have you here in our group. Welcome. I have never heard of sores being a part of FM. Now I do know my father had sores that did not heal and it turned out to be skin cancer. I am not saying this is what you have. But I would have it checked by a dermotologist or specialist, If I were you, that is what I would do. Better be safe thatn sorry, taht is my motto. Hope you find all the love, compassion, and comfort, I have In our fibro family. Guest guest
Miriam, Welcome to the group. I will answer you just from my own experience and knowledge about fibro. I don't believe that sores are anything to do with fibro. (I could be wrong). But,,,,that is something your doctors need to look into and find out what is causing it for sure. The snoring, I don't know. But I know I snore really bad. Sometimes people with fibro tend to get sleep apnea which is a sleep disorder characterized by pauses in breathing when sleeping. I don't have that... but I do snore really bad. So, yeah, I guess in some sense it can be part of fibro. We also typically have a sleep disturbance that has to do with the brain waves during sleep. Studies have shown that many of us have interrupted sleep at night because of bursts of awake like activity in the brain waves. In this case we never reach the deepest level of sleep. The chest pain and shortness of breath? I have heard many fibro patients here complain of chest pain and some of shortness of breath. It can go with fibro. But in your case, if you already have asthma, then asthma may be the cause. Welcome again, hugs, Debra V. mglennon mglennon@...> wrote: Hi, I have some questions and am new to the group. Guest guest
, I am so sorry you lost your brother-law so young. It is such a waste. One of my brothers died when he was 24 (in 1965 when I was in high school) and left a wife and baby son, so I know what his family and you went through. I still miss him. I have asthma too and it does bring on some scary feelings sometimes. Stay healthy, Marti Loest boltzero@...> wrote: I have asthma and had to go to the ER once because I could have sworn I was > having a heart attack, I lost a Brother-In-Law to a severe asthma attack, he was only 22yrs old and went into respiratory failure at the house. Guest guest
Hey Debi, I just couldn't resist. Where do you find that damp water? On a more serious note, I have asthma too, and have had chest pains that probably should have sent me to the emergency room. If I didn't live alone I would have been more tempted. I know it's wrong, but I resist going unless it goes on for a while. I've been lucky so far - the chest pains are always something else. I have a pretty healthy heart and tend to take chances. The emergency room is such a pain and it costs me $150 a visit. I'm glad you don't take chances, TTFN, Marti DebiAC012553@... wrote: In a message dated 4/14/2008 12:05:49 A.M.
