Guest guest
Hi I hope this helps I started to get pains in my feet as well and asked my doctor about it and she sent me to a phy therapist that is where I got my answer. From being in bed alot because of the pain when you step down on your feet the mussels pull and cause pain she gave me an excersise to do that has made most of the pain go away she told me at first to do it every time I get up the pain got worse first then got better. all you have to do is when you goto stand up cross your legs and pull your toes up like your bending them to the top of your feet and hold for 2-3 secs then do it the other way to the bottom of your feet for 2-3 secs. do it at least one time each time you go to stand the first few times will hurt but it streches the mussel that it not being used like a normal persons does. after the frist few days the pain should start to go away then you only have to do it once or twice a day. Guest guest
Hi - I'm sorry to say it sounds very much like neuropathy to me. I have it in my feet and legs. Are you diabetic by chance? If not, have you had your glucose checked recently? Guest guest
i had planters facia surgery on both of my feet a few years ago on the right foot the spur was the size of a deep sea fishing hook and it had grown up into my muscle and ripping and tearing it during the surgery it was cut loose because of all the damage. I remember well the pain I would get in my feet when i fist stood up in the mornings and the surgery did take care of this along with alot of exersice and streatching it. This is very different and is all day on or off my feet and the pain is 10 times more evil and different in many ways. i have been tested for diabietic but i am not. my sugar averages around 110 or less. my blood pressure averages 70 and 115 so i do not have high blood preasure. I did give in and call my neurologist and i have an appointment for this thursady tomorrow at 11:45. i was dignosed with fms 20 years ago and have thought i have been thru it all. i am a patient at a local pain management clinic and they have helped all. but last year some differevnt things strated happening in addition to the fms and they are now doing all kindsa test for ms. And it is not looking good and with the feet and hands doing what they are now...well i am really scred for the first time in a long time because i do not know how to cope with ms i have learn to manage as much as can be the fms. And having my husband walk out in february this year because he no longer wanted to be with a sick person has made copeing alone a very hard world to handle and as we all know the stress of this alone has made everything worse. i do need alot of prayers and would like some more support from friends. but i can only pray to take everything moment by moment and cope. i will let ya ll know what the nero has to say after appointment on thursday. thasnk you all for listening. Guest guest
I have had this pain for four years (sorry). No one seems to know what causes it. It is now to the point where standing and walking are almost too painful. Even shoes hurt. I have to find the most cushioned shoes and slippers that are also very loose in order for me to wear them. I find that the " Croc " type shoe is best. Nothing helps my pain in my feet. The Lyrica did help with the Neuropathy but that is now dying away and it is only helping about 30% on a good day. I wish I knew what to tell you. I think my PCP thinks I am a hypochondriac because one day in his office he mentioned that there is a lot of that in my family. I looked at him like I had misunderstood and he didn't say anything else and walked out. I stay with him because he does take good care of me but sometimes I wonder if he was talking about me or someone else. ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Your Avon Representative Shop for all of your Avon needs at youravon.com/michellebyrd http://michellebyrd.avonrepresentative.com/> Reasonable shipping rates if you would like your order shipped directly to you _____ From: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group [mailto:Fibromyalgia_Support_Group ] On Behalf Of casesigncreations Sent: Monday, April 28, 2008 12:12 AM To: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group Subject: a scary new foot pain anyone else hi all! for about a month now my feet are in non=stop weird pains. i will try to describe - burning like standing in a fire pit yet frozen blocks of ice instant stabbing pain like stabbed with a knife then twisted and pulled out it happens with out any notice to the point i sometimes scream out. also, crawlingarmy of ants under the skin with pitch forks as legs martching over and all around my feet. a sledge hammer just slammed on top of it. to touch them or stand and put any pressure is past the point of evil. Guest guest
I will say that I have not had that kind of pain in my feet.. fortunately. But my hands get that kind of pain sometimes. I have had it occur lately more often than usual. It is burning tingling pain. It luckily goes away within a few minutes. However, my very first BIG fibro flare started with my hands hurting like that and it lasted for a month at least before it let up. Of course at the same time the old fibro beast decided to move in to the rest of my body as well and came to stay. Sorry your doc would make such an insensitive comment like that. hugs, Debra V.
