Guest guest
I think I have the RLS as well. I also experience leg cramps in both legs. About a week ago I woke up about 5am screaming in pain due to the cramps. I screamed to my husband to help me. I scared him to death. I could feel my feet going in different directions and I tried really hard to get out of bed to stand and work them out but it was like I was paralzed. I couldn't move at all! Of course my pain doctor referred me to my PCP....so sick of being passed around like a dish on the dinner table! Guest guest
Oh, how well I remember those first nights of having restless legs!! But it wasn't just my legs that were moving, my entire body was jerking violently!!! And I wasn't the one screaming, it was MY HUSBAND telling me TO STOP THAT!!!! It got sooo bad that eventually, if it happened, I would go sleep in the guest room and finally, I think at some point, we could not sleep in the same bed because I never knew when it would happen and for the longest time, he accused me of doing it deliberately!! 18 years later he knows better and it doesn't happen as often nor as severe as it did but I can remember lying there trying to just become stiff and I had NO idea what it was that was causing it. Didn't know anyone else who had anything like it! Now I don't have it very often and despite the fact that my body clock is not on the same time as my husband's I am sleeping in a different room these days. He has told me that on some of our trips over the past 8 months, that when we have been in a hotel room with a king size bed, I fall asleep before he does and I don't move. I don't know what to tell anyone that might help with that problem -- I may just be taking so many psych meds that my body is more relaxed or it could be that I have the valium which I can and do take --- and that I only take at night (and there better not be a doc spying on us or the DEA but sometimes, I take my daily allotment all at once, other times I go for days/weeks with out any!) > > > > > Does anyone else out there have restless leg syndrom as well as the > > Fibro??? > > I have been on Requip for about 3 years now and they keep having to > > increase the dosage.
