Guest guest
Thank you Darlene - it was very hard but she's out of pain now. Never an easy road to take but when I saw the light had gone out of her eyes, I knew it was selfish of me to try to keep her. Kidney failure is not cureable. And I couldn't buy her time for me when the quality of her life was so important to me. and you are exactly correct about my DIL and my son is in the middle. I pray I never have to live with them - I'm afraid she'd be one to abuse me! I'm just going to lay low. hugs karen ddean228 navydaisy228@...> wrote: Oh (((()))) I am so sorry you had to put your beloved Sophee down. How heartbreaking. Our pets love us unconditionally and to be honest, my ancient poodle mix, who is becoming more and more crippled with arthritis in her back legs is probably heading down that road. but to think about it, makes me cry. So I'll cry for Sophee instead. As for your daughter-in-law, um, she sounds like a biotch. How dare she use the threat of not seeing your grandchild! And the last I knew, folks were (supposedly) responsible for their own actions - how could anything you did 2 yrs ago be causing her stress now? Sounds to me like she's a few bricks shy of a full load. I feel for your son; he's no doubt feeling caught in the middle!
