no Marti i can no long work as a paramedic which i loved. after busting up my

shoulder and upper back i became one that had to go into instruction and now

that has taken its toll on me. i just was approved from the federal gov'ment for

my disabitily retirement.

If you are allergic to morphine have you began to investigate wheather you are

allergic to other sulfates? you know morphine sulfate often is just one of many

people are allergic to.

I have multiple chemical allergies and sulfites and sulfates are big ones. any

thing with a perservative base also.Dilaudid is another pain med i can't take

either.

Morphine can be good for some but deadly for others.

geez seems we are just a egnima.

I had my gall bladder out last August. They did check for gall stones because

even without a gall bladder you can still get stones. That was negative. They

didn't do x-rays they just did blood work, urine sample and ultrasound.

I still hurt. Not as bad as this morning so maybe the massive morphine I got

today is finally kicking in! lol

Isn't that the truth? Enigmas all.

I am allergic to Sulfa drugs.

I'm not allergic to any foods or additives. Several years ago I was seeing a

holistic practitioner who had me stop all food for a day or two, can't remember

exactly how long I was on just fluids - to get rid of the toxins. Then I added

things back and took them away and added other things, etc. There was a

printout of exactly how I was to do it and I saw her every week. She was sure I

was allergic to a food or additive, but it turns out after lots of money and a 3

month long food test that I wasn't allergic to any of it.

So basically I'm allergic to Morphine and Sulfa drugs and that's it - unless

there's something left I haven't tried yet that I would have a reaction to.

I'm sorry you had to give up a job that you loved. Buy I'm glad you got

disability.
