Guest guest
Another possibility for that pain is a build up of scar tissue. I had the old full incision gallbladder surgery and had much scar tissue removed during my last abdominal surgery in 05. I think even with the band-aid surgeries, there can be a build up of scar tissue. Jeanne in WI Hi , I had my gall bladder out several years ago. I didn't know that I could still get gall stones. Where are they in the body? Can they still make you hurt like the other ones? I've started having pain in the same area that I had it in before I got the gall bladder out but have dismissed the idea that it could be gall stones. I hope you feel better really soon. Guest guest
Hi again , I went back and looked and it was you that wrote about your gall bladder being taken out. Usually a person has gall stones when a gall bladder is removed so I assumed you had them. They find them when the doctor goes in to get it. I'm sorry that I made the assumption. Also when you said that you were checked for gallstones because a person can still have gallstones even when they don't have a gall bladder, it was the first time I had heard that so I asked if you knew anything else about them, like where they would be. They didn't do x-rays they just did blood work, urine sample and ultrasound. I still hurt. Not as bad as this morning so maybe the massive morphine I got today is finally kicking in! lol in NM --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
