Guest guest
, all I can tell you is what I have learned on the net and my personal experience with chronic fatigue. I just find that 98% of the time I am exhausted beyond belief no matter how much I sleep or rest. IF I wake up on a very rare occasion feeling " good " , it lasts for about 5 or 6 hours before I feel like I have not been to bed in days. What little energy I can muster up is shortlived. It is not the kind of tired where you go to bed and sleep then wake up refreshed like normal people. You wake up feeling like you have not been to bed even after 8 or 9 hours of sleep. (I usually sleep, but apparently it is not the right kind of sleep because I NEVER feel rested). I have tried energy drinks too. I don't seem to get much out of them though. But the best ones are the ones with alot of B vitamins. I also pop alot of B12 some days. I really cannot tell that it helps much though. This " tired " goes back about 20 years ago. I was always tired. It was not this kind of exhaustion though. It seems as the years went by and the fibro kicked in, it is a tired beyond belief. People just dont get it. They just say " well, just sleep in tomorrow " .... That does not rellieve it. Nothing does sometimes. Well, let me say that I guess sleep helps some because without it I flare bigtime like I did today from overdoing yesterday. Hope this helps, hugs, Debra V. jaimeislove@...> wrote: If anyone has a good website link about CFS could you send it to me, please? I'm not sure if this is something else I may have, but here's a little background. In late 2006 I had a personal issue and became very depressed. I could not sleep and if I did it was only for a couple hours. Since that personal issue became resolved a month afterwards, I have been soo damn tired during the day that sometimes I do not get out of bed until 11:00 a.m. Luckily with my job my schedule is VERY flexible. I'm fine at night and seem to have more energy. But when I try to go to sleep, I either lay there for hours or I fall asleep and sleep forever. It's hard to explain. I just feel so tired. Occassionally I drink one of those energy drinks (Rockstar coffee flavored) and I feel alright. Other times I use the B12 and feel ok. Other times without either I feel alright. Then there's the days where I am just so tired I feel dead. I also have RLS but not too bad. It really bothers me when I get too tired or when I lay for too long. So, if anyone has any info that may help me, I'd appreciate it! --------------------------------- You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost. Guest guest
, After reading your post, have you ever been checked for sleep apnea? Because while you may have CFS, it's possible that one of the underlying causes of your exhaustion could be sleep apnea. It's worth checking into, that's for sure! I have obstructive sleep apnea and sleep with a bipap machine every night. I am rested, although I do get fatigued during the day, especially if I don't get a nap of some kind.
