Guest guest
My opinion is that it shouldn't really matter if your pain is caused by physical or psychological reasons. Obviously, if there is a physical cause such as a broken arm, or other obvious physical reason, I don't mean that kind. For our usually undetermined pain, we just need to get relief, period. It's fine to search for psychological reasons, but that doesn't mean you don't treat the pain at all. Any doc who won't offer some form of pain relief should be fired. Jeanne in WI Ok... my POINT IS, there is a difference in physical pain and psycological pain. And when I look back I can remember many little fibro flares during my life that I simply laid off to depression. I can be a very happy person at times with my life situation but yet I will go into a fibro flare from hell. So, I know it is not linked to my mental status. And when you are so stiff you can't get out of bed, it is not psychological. When my fingers tingle and go numb, it is not psycological. And exhaustion is not caused by depression when you are NOT depressed.
Guest guest
There is only one difference between psycho and physical pain, its in the management. Don't get hung up with psycho meaning crazy, it doesn't " stress is an illness too " .
