I couldn't sleep last night, so I was trying to research Dr.'s for you in the

Dallas area. I mentioned Dr. Rea, but I found more info on him, and while he

does look good, he does not accept insurance either! And he specializes in

environmental chemical sensitivity so even though he was on the good dr. lists

for fibro.......I don't know how good he would be unless you're fibro is

resulting from chemical sensitvity. I'm assuming you need a dr. who accepts

your insurance? Just checking because obviously if you have te resources to pay

out of pocket, it gives you a lot more options. As I mentioned before, I'm

going to the Fibro & Fatigue Center. They do not accept insurance, but I am

desperate, so I've been putting it on a credit card. I was positive they would

get me back on my feet and I could go back to work and be able to pay all my

bills along with the dr. bills. I am not any better and have spent about $2500

so far. It added up quicker because my new insurance doesn't pay for

prescriptions. So, now I'm even further in debt and still debilitated.......

So, go to www.cf-allinace.tripod.com/ and go to the Patient Recommended Dr.

List. You can then request the list from Texas. I just requested the list for

AZ and you can not ask for more than one state unless you pay $7. CF-Alliance

is also for fibro not just CFS.

What are you main symptoms?

Re: Doctors

Welcome . I wish you the best in finding a good doctor. They are out

there, it's just tricky sometimes finding them. In the meantime, keep posting so

we can offer you some support. Take care.

Hi everyone :) i've never posted here before but read the posts every day. I

have had fibro since i was about 12 (i'm 27 now) but wasn't diagnosed with it

until about 2 years ago. My PCP is currently treating me but says that I have no

options left and I'm pretty much

out of luck, in those two years I have been to a D.O. a Neurologist, a

Rhumatologist(sp?), and an anesthesiologist at a pain clinic and have been put

on pretty much every drug that is said to help according to

my current dr. Anyway I guess i was wondering if anyone lived in the DFW area

and knows of a really good dr, there has to be something that will help i can't

live like this, as a single mom of two little boys i

have to be able to function.

thanks for listening

sarah
