I just read this post this morning.  I want to say that I have heard it through

the grapevine that Oprah and Dr. Phil think we are full of crap.  I read this on

another site somewhere.  Some fibromites did contact Oprah and she refuses to do

a show unless it is a " Celebrity " with fibromyalgia.

I would prefer Montel over Oprah; she is into some power trips lately.

I also don't care for Dr. Phil. Montel has MS and has had folks on his

show that are autistic, etc. Another group I belong to has been trying

to get his camp interested in our cause. We should try it for fibro.

This is one of the file it in the back of your memory moments,there

will be a day of reckoning.

I'd like to find out the facts on this issue " celebrity status " only.

It does provide ammunition for our cause regarding the lack of

compassion and awareness of the syndrome.

My initial introductory statement to a talk show host would be " Eat "

followed closely by " Me " thats cops this kind of attitude.

Respect is a 2 way street, you have to give it to receive it,...Oprah.
