Hi,

I haven't had my surgery yet but I am on Cymbalta. I went on it because when I

had my Psych eval, she saw me for 20 minutes and said I was depressed and the

only way she would clear me was if my regular doctor would put me on an

antidepresent. She gave me samples to use so I didn't have to incure the cost

of the new drug.

As for side effects, I had an upset stomach feeling for the first day and then

it was gone. I called my doctor when that happened and she said it was normal

and it would go away and it did. I have been on it now for almost a month and

no problems.
