Guest guest
I use walgreens and when I have multiple meds on one script and do not need all of them, they file it for me, so I can get when ready. Cannot understand walmart doing that. It sucks. Hugs,
Guest guest
I work in a pharmacy and hope to go to pharmacy school one day. I work in Kroger. Honestly there is no reason why it should take an hour or more to fill a script. If there are no insurance, or counteraction problems we get done with one in less than 10 minutes. Here is the process of filling your much needed meds: Inputting script into the computer - 1 minutell Grabbing the stock bottle off the shelf - 1 minute Counting the medications and bottling them up - 2 minutes Pharmacist checking the RX checking for counteractions- 3 minutes Bagging RX - 1 minute That's less than 10 minutes. If there are other people waiting on their meds to be filled also then it might take 5 minutes more. Everyone at our pharmacy agrees that if a pharmacy takes more than 30 minutes to fill a script then they are just lazy. We start working on your script right away. This does not go for every Kroger pharmacy though, the other 2 in my town are so dysfunctional that it's surprising they haven't killed anyone yet. If any one lives in sville, TN come to my kroger! Guest guest
I use our local grocery store HEB pharmacy. They are very nice to fill out all my scripts. The pharmacists all know me and they are very nice. Many of the scripts come from a different location in bigger bottles which I don't like. Have to store them in my cupboard after pouring them into a smaller bottle. Then write R when I refill one and scribble it out when it's old.
