I Just want to comment on the Dr. who told you it was muscle spasams. I would

go right back and say and if they are they are hurting way to much for too long,

that something has to be done! As for doing the blood test, what does this Dr.

know, it is not blood work that diagnoisis, Fibromayalgia, he should know that.

And finally last summer I went to ER with muslce pain after putting up with it

for a week. The Dr., checked me out make sure not clot and then told me I had

spranged my calf, I could not believe it,as the only thing I had done is paint a

small small bathroom floor, he chuckled not laughing at the injury, but said you

have fibromyalgia, this is not uncommon exspecially if you are in a flare-up.

I hope this help's in going back to that Dr., and being persistant.

We all have muscle spasms along with the host of all the other wonderful

symptoms that are compliments of fibro. So, I guess this means that if we have

muscle spasms, we don't have fibromyalgia though it sure is a symptom of fibro.

That is like saying " you don't have flu, it is just body aches with fever and a

respiratory infection " ...

Or " you don't have diabetes, your blood sugar is just high all the time " . Makes

no damn sense. Where the hell are these people coming from? Do they research or

read anything new about this disease??????

Well, some more news from a different doctor.

First of all let me remind you of my situation.

My pcp told me i may have fibro

my orthopedic told me I have fibro

A neurosurgeon told me I have fibro

A rheumotologist told me I have fibro

My pcp sent me to another rheumotologist who did loads of blood test

and told me she thinks it's muscle spasms.

UGH, I am so aggravated I don't know what to think and my PCP told me

he couldn't help me anymore because I can't take Lyrica it makes me

dizzy and stuff and Cymbalta makes me throw up. So I don't know what

to do. I am just taking Lortabs when I absolutley cannot take the

pain. Any suggestions because noone seems to know what my problem is

but I hurt so much. The rhuemo that told me I had muscle spasms is

making me go to PCCT therapy. I start that next monday please pray

that it helps me.
