Hi Teri, Hope you continue to feel better. I found out last week that

I had pneumonia. I originally went in because I hurt my shoulder. I

could hardly breath because of the pain but they were more worried

about my lungs. I lost about 6 pounds in 2 weeks. I thought it was the

diet. Darn it, didn't they heal the pneumonia and I gained 4 back.

Anyway glad you're feeling better.

Jan

Teri, how nice to hear from you honey.  You have been missed.  I am so sorry you

have been ill with that horrible virus.  It seems that down here in my neck of

the woods (East TX)... we have had virus after virus around here that keep on

spreading.  One of them is a horrible respiratory bug that has gone through so

many and turned to pneumonia on some people.  Also a gastro-intestinal bug kind

of like what you are describing.

My thoughts are with you and your family sweetie.  I sure hope it all clears up

soon.  Having fibro and another sickness on top of it is a double wammy.

love and hugs,

Debra V.

Morning all - been away for a bit (and from the computer - too many posts to

try to catch up on) but I just wanted to welcome all the newbies and have

prayers going up for all in need.

Had a bout of the " stomach " flu since last Wednesday night - thought I was

going to die. Actually wanted to die it was so bad. Bad enough to have the

pains of fibro but to have them exacerbated from the body aches of the flu

and all the restroom visits intensified everything - on top of that I

couldn't take any pain meds because they wouldn't stay down. Started

getting better yesterday, just exhausted. I must say I haven't had a case

of the flu like that in a very, very long time. It's been going around my

family and poor hubby who took off work on Friday to take care of me will

probably get it next - poor thing. I don't wish that on anyone. Was

worried about getting dehydrated and actually think I lost a few pounds -

not exactly the way I want to lose weight. Still don't have an appetite but

am pushing fluids. I feel like I lost the last 4 or 5 days somewhere.

Anyway just checking in and wishing you all better days and pain free (as

much as possible) days.

Teri (central Wisconsin)
