Guest guest
Cathy, I have the same sort of problem. I use a walker because of arthritis in my lower back which use to make me break out in a sweat from pain if I walked more than 3 minutes. I'm 5 ft. and wiegh 316 now down from 377. I have gone to physical therapy and they prescribed very gentle exercises to do daily. Plus I go water walking twice a week. Sometimes my sciatic nerve will act up and I have to pull back for a couple of days but I feel so much better since starting to do this. I don't know what kind of insurance you have but Kaiser has been great for me. I'm just frustrated now because the wieght isn't coming off fast enough and my surgery has been postponed from this coming Tuesday until next year some time. Am anxious to get a date but I have to be 305 or less before I can have it and am on an 800 calorie diet. How are you doing? I can now walk farther and have more stamina. If I can be of any help please let me know. Good Luck! I know getting the weight off will definitely help.
