I started Lyrica for the 2nd time about 2 weeks ago. Still haven't noticed

anything. I'm also on Mirapex and was on Cymbalta which haven't done anything

either. Just started on Provigil and I LOVE it!

I really hope Lyrica works for you!!!!!

Jill.I was and continue to be staggered by the sheer amounts of

narcotics that are being used by nearly everyone. I couldn't believe

it. I've been gimping along using Darvocet...pretty useless, then was

using 2 helped a bit, so she gave me Vicodin one every 8 hours as

needed. Now, my question to you with all you take for pain, are you

also on Lyrica???I just started the Lyrica and am hoping it works and I

can cut back on the pain meds. Just wondering.

pain killers have been shown to be largely ineffective for fibro most of us

are on other stuff that does the same thing

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as

to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr.

Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to

certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be

afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation

4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the

same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something

another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member

may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal

with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense

of humor.

Provigil is actually for people that have narcolepsy, but also works great for

people who suffer from extreme fatigue. I can not believe how much energy it

has given me. I just started it, but I think it is going to make my life a lot

easier!!!! If you have fatigue, ask your dr. about it.
