Guest guest
Hi guys...I just read over the coping hints list to be sure these weren't there and thought that I would mention them. I frequently use cold compresses to help the " tightness " in the ole shoulders. However, sometimes HEAT really feels better. Today is one of those days. The new discovery that I have made it the Thermacare Air activated compress....it's neat!!! They say that it is good for 8 hrs...relieves pain and relaxes muscles...works for me. And even BETTER news...they have a FREE sample offer. http://www.thermacare.com/ That is how I started with it. Since then I have actually bought some. ;-{ FYI BJ's Warehouse has pretty good prices in eight packs. The nice thing is that you can walk around, actually even go out with the silly think on. It doesn't get too hot...just nice and comforting. The other thing that I SWEAR by... A small inflatable travel-type u-shaped pillow. I keep it by my recliner...especially when I have had a tiring day, this is just enough to make all the difference in the world in how I feel. I have tried the buckwheat ones, etc...but this is soooooooooooooooooo light that you don't know you are wearing it...but there is enough support to make the ole neck feel pretty good. I use one like this little one http://www.stacksandstacks.com/html/60066.htm?AID=1458514&PID=1147287 but there are a ton of others out there.I prefer the smaller one to the larger that go all around your neck. Just thought that I would mention these two things...they have helped me quite a bit. BERNIE...if you are listening..please feel free to add them to the list! All best wishes, Sally R ACM..Decompression '91... Hydro..VP shunt..2 revisions Doing GREAT in Bethlehem,Pa with NO medications
