Guest guest
Thanks sweetie. That is a great explanation that even I can understand. LOL. I have always wondered what it was but never researched it. And the pull of tides on gravity certainly makes sense as to " why " we are affected so much by the moon. And believe me, anyone who does not believe a full moon affects people only need to ask people in the fields of medicine, law enforcement and such. People change with the moon and it seems that more accidents happen and more babies are born (if you ask a labor and delievery nurse). I have never understood why, but to think that so much our body is WATER makes perfect sense. love and hugs, Debra V. Subject: Re: Barometric pressure... question??? To: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group Date: Monday, April 28, 2008, 2:42 AM Temperature is made up of " bar's " . A high pressure system travels from " hot " to " cold " a low pressure system around the world. Cold fronts and storms can be predicted by a sudden change in pressure. Sudden changes like storms cause a very rapid alteration in pressure change and people with arthritis feel this change in their body. Also high tides and full moons have a similar effect, again gravitational pull is considered the cause it because we are made up of 80% water. ----- Original---- as From: debra van nesnghs To: Fibromyalgia_ Support_Group@ yahoogroups. com Sent: Thursday, 24 April, 2008 12:24:28 AM Subject: Barometric preseesure.. . question??? While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. 3. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of humor. 5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support. Have a nice day everyone.
