Guest guest
Just curious, how many times a day do you have to take the hydrocodone?? /Mi Re: Just a vent-- A PRISON OF PILLS To: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group Date: Friday, April 25, 2008, 10:57 PM Debra V. I was so much like that. Always trying to remember which pills I needed to take now. I finally said enough was enough and decided to come off all but what was absolutely necessary. I now only take insulin and Relafen. All the medication combined actually made me suicidal. I went inpatient in the hospital because I was on large doses of fentanyl and morphine and that was the only way to come off. I live with so much pain every day but I have my life back! I have learned to use other ways of dealing with the pain, stretching, warm baths, meditation, anything but the meds again. I know a lot of people cannot deal with the pain but I like knowing what I am doing and not being spaced out anymore. Have you tried alternatives to medications? > Just venting. Guest guest
Hydrocodone in a 5/500 pill contains: 5mg of codeine - pain reliever 500mg of acetaminophen - an anti-inflammatory Hydrocodone is habit-forming, and can lead to physical and psychological addiction, (run out of your prescription and you will eat shirt buttons) addiction varies depending on unique biological differences. Hydrocodone pills contain acetaminophen, consuming more than 4,000 milligrams (8 pills) of acetaminophen a day can cause liver damage, jaundice, and even liver failure if it is taken in excessive doses for an extended period of time. Drinking alcohol while taking Hydrocodone can cause serious damage to the liver, kidneys, and stomach wall.
