I am so sorry that this doctor would not help you or give u anything for the

pain....I know exactly how u feel, like it is a losing battle....I don't

know what is wrong with these doctors....

I am suffering as well, and when I am really in terrible pain, I resort to

cutting my pain pills in half and only taking it if I can't move, since the

doctor would only give me 20 pain pills and told me he would not give me any

more until my 6 month appt in September! And then who even knows..

I am going to see a rheumatologist, but could not get an appt until the end

of May, and I don't have much hope of him giving me anything either...

I don't know if u have ever tried to look into those places online, but I

have been checking some out lately....You need to send them all your medical

records, drivers license ID, and apply for a consultation with them....If they

accept u for a consult, they will prescribe pain meds supposedly, with a few

refills...But it is very expensive, you can't use insurance if u have any,

and u must pay for the consult plus the meds each time....I am so mad that I

might have to end up paying hundreds of dollars for one script, that I could

get for $15.00 from a regular doctor and pharmacy...

I hope u can find a doctor that can help u and give u the meds u need...

Well I left that dr's office in tears. Only gave me a script for steroids

and ordered an MRI. Plans on injection treatments to follow that and pt

which I told him I cannot afford. Went in one ear and out the other. Like i

never said anything. Asked him how toget his pain under control for now and

steroids is his answer. I just did those 2 weeks ago when I went for the

infection in my mouth. Now they should still be in my system, right? Called

my reg dr and told them I did not recieve any pain control. wanted to send

me to the pain dr I fired for injections. He cannot do them till I have an

MRI. No one can. So I am still in severe pain and more frustrated than ever.

I told my dr I am going to the er then. This is ridiculous treat someone

like this and make them suffer needlessly. Tried to tell me Panlor ss is

stronger than Vicodin. Are they crazy? Maybe I am becoming immune to it form

taking it so long. DUH. I am not sure I am going back to either dr at this

point. What am I doing wrong? I never asked for pain killers. Just to get it

under control. I knew it would turn out this way. It always does. anyhow. I

need to make plans as to whether I can go to the er or not. Do not have a

ride there.

I see a dr. here in Austin that is a spine pain care dr. He prescribes PAIN

MEDS!!!!!!!!!!! Is there anyway you could get down here to see him? I get

Oxycodone 10mg 5/day and 15mg of Morphine 3/day. It would be a 3 hour drive. I

suggest seeing him one time and explain to him what you have been thru. Have

him rx you meds and recommend you to a Dallas are dr. that he knows will follow

up with you and continue any meds you need.

, I am so sorry. Steroids are wonderful but they sure don't give you

immediate relief. What is wrong with all the so called doctors out there. I've

never seen such a bunch of cold hearted suckers. You take care.
