is going to be busy busy for me.  Those who pray keep me in your prayers that I

can make it through.

Tomorrow - I get a new desk at work (yea!!!), but that means cleaning out my old

one and getting it out of my office (will have the guys do that).

Saturday - SOS (Sharing Our Service) this is a mission program that the Singles

(I am part of this group) does once a month - we have invited the entire church

to help also.  We solicte jobs that need to be done from changing a light bulb

to mowing to painting for members of our church and the community and we divide

into teams and work for 3 hours.  I am in charge of PR (public relations) which

means I will go from job site to job site, take pictures and talk to the

folks doing the work and the folks having the work done for them so we can do

a write up.

Sunday - church

Monday - I have to go for my second appointment for my simulation for my

radiation and should start radiation Tues or Wed.  I will go daily for 5-6 weeks

of treatment.

Tues-Fri - depends on when radiation starts - may be driving to Dallas every day

(this is a 30 mile trip one way)

Saturday - Singing Women of Texas concert.  My church does not have a permenant

music minister right now, so since we are singing at my home church I am

in charge of making sure everything is ready for the group and everything goes

smoothly.  I will be at the church by 8 am and will not leave I am sure until 8

pm or so.  So gonna be a really long day.

As you can see I will be busy, oh yeah, still have to keep up with school during

this time.

I must be nuts - but I will tell you, doing work for the Lord makes me so happy

and content.  It really helps put everything else in perspective.

I am thankful for this group where we can speak about what is going on in our

lives and no one really gets bent out of shape as we all remember we are all

different and we do live our lives differently.

Any one that is in the DFW area, if you are interested, the concert is Free and

on May 17th, 6pm at First Baptist Church Waxahachie.  Would love for you to come

if you can.

Christi, sounds like a very busy week.  Hope it all goes well.  I am sure it

will.  At least there are some positive things in the plans.  Doing things you

enjoy is important.

Be careful to NOT overdo yourself though.

love and hugs,

Debra V.

Christi,

You obviously missed all the posts about pacing yourself and not

overdoing? lolol....j/k.....sometimes we have to slog thru life

because of what is scheduled that is outside our circle of control.

In the meantime, make sure you keep hydrated, eat as best as you can;

my mom read something that orange and red veggies are natural anti-

inflammatories so I have to check into that some more. And when you

are able to get some rest, do so!

Praying and wishing you the best during this crazy week you have!

I will Darlene.  The worst of the days I think will be next Saturday, since I

will be at the church all day.  But I love to sing with this group, no matter

how long the day, I always feel better and even refreshed when I get to sing.  I

will be taking my pain pills to help with all of this.
