Thanks Jeanne, and I hope you feel better soon. My emotions have been

riding the same rollercoaster as yours this weekend. Maybe the same

amusement park for sure, though not very amusing this weekend. :-)

Emotions all over the place. Does this thing wreak havoc with emotions

like this regularly with everyone or most of us besides the regular issues

stuff? It seems to be here with me.

I just want to say welcome to all of the newbies. This is a wonderful place

for support and understanding. My name is Jeanne, I'm 44, married, have 2

teenage daughters. I've been diagnosed now for 10 years, but I believe I

had signs and symptoms of this as a child. Getting the diagnosis and

realizing that it is for the rest of your life is very overwhelming. We

grieve for our old selves as we try to adjust to what our new " normal " is.

I've been through a rough week. I am feeling depressed and emotional this

morning. I stayed home from a family function/church function because I

didn't feel I could handle it emotionally. And now I'm not doin' all that

better being home alone either. Oh well. Life goes on.
