Guest guest
Does anyone have trouble excerising or being able to keep up with exercises? Are there any suggestions that I should do? I am trying to lose weight and am bicycling, but am so exhausted. Thankyou.
Guest guest
Maybe you should try a pedometer that measures your steps and distance. The one I am wearing measures calories, too. Each day try to walk a bit more, even if it's slowly. I can't tolerate fast paced exercises and heavy weights. Instead do light weight training and take my yoga class. Last night slept poor so skipped my class today. Debbie L > > Does anyone have trouble excerising or being able to keep up with > exercises? Are there any suggestions that I should do? Guest guest
I have not exercised in a couple years, mainly due to injuries, surgeries and pain. I got an eliptical trainer and have started using that. My suggestion would be to do as much as you can (7-10 minutes) 3-4 days a week. Then the next week do 10-15 minutes. If you feel that you are overdoing it, slow down. Make sure you stretch before and after, even if just using a stationery machine. When I started PT they had me use the stationery bike for 6 minutes. I thought I was going to die. But by the end of the month, I could easily do it for 30 minutes. It takes time, which I know sucks because then it takes longer to see results. If you are interested, I'd be glad to be a workout " partner " to you. We could communicate back and forth about different exercises and diet? I have a friend that works for the Sheriff's Office (she's a detective sergeant) and she has helped me develop a plan. Guest guest
My doctor has sent me to water therapy I got a membership for the local YMCA and go swimming once a week its not alot but its all I can afford in gas to get there. In the water its almost like there is no pain at all but if you do go be carful not to stay in the water to long as the pain comes back when you get out of the pool. Make sure its a heated pool and learn to float.
Guest guest
Great thread. I exercise to various CDs and tapes by Sansone. The program is all about walking, and there are various lengths (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 miles) and intensities. At first, it was tough to get through even 1 mile, but now it's a lot easier. And I feel a lot better and my pain level is better, too. Maureen Pratt **************Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos.
