I have finally had to start having them delivered and only go to the store to get the extra few items that were not on the order list or get something special. Stop and Shop has what they call Peapod that lets you order your groceries over the Internet and pick a delivery time. The delivery people put the bags in my kitchen and all I have to do is put them away (which takes me a couple of days). The site uses the same flyer that the store uses for sales. It costs $6,50 to have an order delivered and if you pick certain delivery times they take $1.50 off and they give you coupons for free deliveries if you use if once every month or two months. I particularly like using it for the heavy things and awkward things. If you don't have Peapod in you area there are other sites that deliver groceries from orders over the Internet. I think most of us try not to complain. That is what this site is for though, so we don't have to complain to others in our lives. And to give the support where needed also. And of course to pass along any info that might be helpful. Or just to chat. Going to bed earlier might help a lot. If you went to bed just a hour earlier you would get 8 hours and that might be enough to make you feel better. Hope all goes well, Marti Debra #402430 wrote: Thanks so much for the replies. I know that I'm not alone here. About 80% of the time or so, people wouldn't even know that I was in pain. I try not to complain about things and make the best of the situation I've been given. There is so much that I need to work on, it's just so difficult to figure out where to start. Insomnia is a huge issue. I NEED and enjoy my alone time at night. So I generally don't get to bed until 2 am. I get up around 9 am most days. I know this isn't enough sleep, it's so hard to break the cycle. The fibro fog is a huge issue also. I've been thinking that I might also have ADD, but have never been diagnosed. There are many times that I get to the grocery store only to be barely making it to the cashier and then to the car. I've called my hubby a couple of times to come rescue me, because I was in so much pain and exhausted. It's like I just need to sit and can't continue. I am about 80 lbs over weight and know that I need to lose that, but the pain, depression, lack of sleep, etc and it all becomes too much. I am going to try very hard to work on journaling. I know that it will help to pinpoint when I'm having a flare up and areas that I need help or to work on. I am looking forward to getting to know more of you here. Guest guest
Wow Jill, You sure do pay too much for your meds. Mine isn't near that high since I get at least 6 meds by mail order and 7 at my pharmacy's $5 plan. The 6 mail order ones would be about $45 per month and the 7 at $35 per month. Do have a few others at my pharmacy for $10 copays, too. Debbie L
Guest guest
The cost of my meds also include my twins. I'm also taking a lot more meds then most people. I've been doing so much research on it and what keeps coming up with fibro/cfs is cortisol levels, thyroid, HHP-6, candida, adrenal fatigue, B12, DHEA and magnesium deficiancy, low levels of Killer T cells, etc....... I've had extensive blood work and my results came back with all these issues......so I'm on about 50 rx's & supplements/day. I also have a $4,000 deductable thanks to my husbands job switching our insurance with no notice and no choices. In the past, I always choose the PPO's because of mine and my twins health issues. The scary thing is, when we move back to Phoenix and have to go on Cobra, we will also have to pay $1,000/mo just for coverage. We are so overwhelmed.
