Guest guest
Dear Whitney, Thanks for the suggestion on what helps the pain, other than PainMeds. I have been taking the Flexiril/Cyclobenzeprine, 1 in am and 1 in pm, for a few months. It realy is the only thing that helps. I cannot take Ibuprophen or other NSAIDS cause I am on Lithium( and Nsaids are among the half million Litium interactions that could Kill me) and I have had a realy bad go with all antidepressants, mood stabalizers, 'atypicals' and anti- seizure meds so I think that's about every thing but I will look up Lexapro before I go see my Psychiatrist and ask her about it, just so she doesn't crapp all over all over again. Yes it hurts .And they want me to do YOGA? Next person who suggests yoga, I will ask them " and how many years have you studied yoga? " I bet the answer is about 6 years less than me. I realize I a starting to rant. I just can't stand these know it all health care types who think all I need is " DAILY EXERCISE " . I am going to see the Pain Psychologist, but only to play with his head and so I can tell them all that I went. So come on out of your lurking place more often Whitney and join in all the fun. Guest guest
Cassandra, I used to be on flexeril (pre-dx, but I suffered often with non- specific spasms) but was " upgraded " to robaxin. That could be a thought for you as I think it's the next step up from flexeril. The past few days, coughing with the bronchitis like I have, I cannot tell what is fibro pain, what is from coughing and what is from just " blahs " . So I went to chiro and got adjusted and feel a little better. Am taking all pain meds including the silly tylenol arthritis because it helps with the headaches the coughing inspires. I'm another one of those allery folks. I was hurting so bad the other day, I almost went to my PCP for a shot of toradol, but I wouldn't have been able to drive home.....
