Guest guest
Yes, Marg, I had a real problem with this. I would have a bad week prior to getting my period and it would stay that way until my period was over. So it was 1/2 of each month. This is why my PCP put me on the pill for 9 weeks on/1 week off. It confuses the hormones and things are more leveled off. But at your age, it probably doesn't make sense to begin this. My PCP said I can remain on the pill until age 50, and then we try going off and see what happens. Even though I only get 5 periods a year, I really hate being a woman at those times. Know just what ya mean. Jeanne in WI does anyone else notice this? my only couple good days are mid and end of cycle...when hormones are low, eventho i don't think i will be having anymore cycles. i am 49. god i wish i was born a male! thanks, marg
