I've been seeing my *new* and improved chiropractor for about 3 weeks now

and it has helped a LOT. Some of you may remember my other recent

experience with goofus chiro from hell that said people with fibro were

drama queens? The new guy isn't fibro-savvy either, but there is no

comparison when it comes to DramaQueenBoy. My new one actually sells some

supplements in his office, like Magnesium and a really good gel to rub on

sore places. He blames most, or maybe all of my pain on the two

laminectomies I have, and sitting in front of computers and books all the

time. But, I can deal with that because he is not condescending. He

actually has some kind of scan that he runs on a new client's back that

shows which areas hurt, which areas have too much or too little nerve

firing, and other things that I'm not quite sure how to interpret. Hard not

to believe in that, because it really does a good job in locating pain. He

also does a thorough neurological exam and x-rays before he gets started.

My hip/lower back pain is SO much better now. Even the rib pain and

pain/tighthess between my shoulders has improved some. I can actually walk

without a limp. I'm thinking about seeing him for a " tune up " at least once

a month after this.

I am still on quest to find a doctor to prescribe some Robaxin or something

similar for me. Looks like I may have to travel out of town to find someone

with more ability to think outside the box.

Hugs to all,

in Louisiana
