Guest guest
Hi Jill, Thanks for the welcome! I use to be a retail store manager so I think I just over did it that week at work and that part of my back is week anyway. I had severe Scoliosis and had a Harrington Rod Spinal Fusion when I was 13 years old. All the stress is put on the lower part of my spine that isn't fused. There isn't much left that doesn't have metal holding it together. It was just a matter of time before that happened. I would assume all that's wrong is hereditary since my mother is disabled with the very same problems. She broke hers in the same spot and then had the same fusion that made her worse too. It's very painful to be pregnant. I just feel that my husband sacrifices alot for me and deserves to have the family he always dreamed of. It's the least I can do for him with all that he does for me. No I can't be the mom that runs around playing soccer or wrestles on the floor with the kids, but I do the best I can for them. Without the pain drugs I wouldn't be able to walk so my pain management doctors are a true blessing. I have an older son from a previous marriage, Cameron age 9, then my daughter Finley age 3. They are the most awesome kids in the world and well worth every bit of pain. I just spend alot of time down on the sofa to keep pain to a minimum. Thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to getting to know you! -Sharon > > Sharon, > > I can't believe you broke your back picking up a trash bag!! That's scary! I have similar issues as you in my back and I can't imagine being pregnant. How do you do it? You must be in so much pain....... > > How old are your other children? That's great you have a supportive husband! That makes it much easier to deal with everything we go thru. > > Congrats on your baby and welcome to the group! > Jill > Re: new to the group/Debi > > > >Hi Debi! > Thank you so much for welcoming me to the group.
