Re: Mental State??

When I first applied for SSD they sent me for a mental evaluation since I was

seeing a physctrist and I got a copy of it from my PCP, it stated that my

condition was guarded. My best friend of 32 years committed suicide last

February and I changed jobs and then in June became ill so my depression was at

the state that my shrink considered putting me into a mental facility for a

short time. That report was sent to SSD and it didn't help me at all. My shrink

told me the last time that I could come back when I felt I needed to. I can't

afford to see him since they don't file on the insurance I have too and at 138 a

pop I don't think I am going back. I have seen a counselor in the past while I

was going through my divorce from my abusive husband and when I was having

trouble with my teenage daughter and my ex husband still trying to kill me so I

think tomorrow I am going to call and make an appointment with her. I think it

would benefit me dealing with all

these health issues that I have. I still get depressed but it's nothing major.

Never had thoughts of suicide because that's just a selfish way out. But it just

helps to talk to someone that will sit and listen. I am also going to call my

Neurologist tomorrow and get him to order me something for pain after my spinal

tap on Tuesday. With my back issues it's not going to be fun laying on that so

called hospital bed for 6-8 hours. I just hope and pray that he will order

something for me. The last time I had a spinal tap done and was laying there I

just thought I was going to die!! Not from the spinal tap but from my back pain.

Okay! Getting off my pitty party!
