Guest guest
Oh! my! 53 years!!! But I did realize last night when I remembered Mother's bedspread or table cloth, that after my brother's death, she was really in a state of shock for so long after that, that the last thing she may have wanted to do was work on it! It was packed away in a dress box and spent so many years in the cedar chest. But I do think that the same person who will not let her adult daughter have her cathedral window quilt has the bedspread! And I did start making cathedral window squares which might just be something I will start working on again after we move!! I just have to remember how to do some of the steps to making one!! Even my sister who has had her quilted pieces in artisan shops in Illinois doesn't make any of those, I think she much prefers to do the large quilts and also all of the hand work. > > > Maybe I could start out with lustersheen or something like > > that....lol...because thread STILL scares me although I will crochet > > with cotton! > > My grandniece is on a basketball team.
