Guest guest
Hi Jenn! I can SO relate to what you said! I'm 34 & feel 70 some days...& most mornings. Ugh. Most of my problems are in my neck & shoulders also. My husband & I just got a new mattress set, a pillow top, & it seems to have helped a bit with the neck & shoulder pain...& I've been sleeping a little better. Plus, I highly recommend finding the right pillow. A good pillow can do wonders. I've gone through about 5 different ones in the past few weeks & finally found one that seems to be relieving some of the pressure on my neck & shoulders. I opted for a firm, high gusseted pillow. It's hard to find one that's just right though...not too firm, not too soft...apparently we're all Goldilocks when it comes to pillows. We actually tried both a memory foam mattress & memory foam pillows before the current setup & they didn't help me at all...actually made me more stiff & sore...& I was allergic! Funny, memory foam is supposed to be hypoallergenic, but something in it (chemicals perhaps?) gave me an awful rash. Anyway, everybody's different, but my advice would be to find the best mattress or mattress topper & pillows that you can afford. The more comfort you have at night the better & you have to keep your spine in proper alignment. Even if you have to spend more $ than you want...it's worth it! And you must get to a dr.! That sucks to not have insurance. Some dr.'s will take payments...perhaps your mother's dr. would? Don't put it off...trust me, you'll feel better if you get some answers. Let us all know how it goes! ~Kandi (just outside Pittsburgh) > > Hello all!! > My name is Jenn and I live in KY. I'm 33 years old. I feel like > I'm 70.
