's new rheumy appt update

*It is me again, LOL Well wanted to update ev1 on my rhuemy visit. First

off, I loved her. She spent 2 hrs with me, asking all types of questions,

trigger point testing, range of motion, etc. Saw how bad of shape I was in

and how much pain. Said my ears were red and hot, a sign of imflammation in

the bones, as cartilage is bone. Hands, feet and nose was also hot and red.

Have raynauds too. She did all types of bloodwork, a bone density scan and

I need a sleep study done. Looked at my xrays of the lower spine, as I did

not know she needed my mri too, but from the xray, she sees scoliosis,

imflammation and severe degeneration of all discs. Does not want me to have

any back surgery unless life threatening. She saw alot of arthritis too.

Says my left leg/foot/hip is getting the brunt of it, cause my spine curves

making all my weight shifted that direction. suspects some pinched nerves

there and will test in 6 weeks for those. May have some in my elbows and

neck too. Have neuropathy too in hands and feet. She is suspecting Lupus or

a thyroid auto-immune disease on top of fibro and maybe RA as well. So now I

must wait for the test results. Oh and she shot cortisone shots into my

spine. Changed most of my meds. Going on effexor, roserem, lortab and soma,

along with my lotrel lyrica and levothyroxine. says I have been on too high

of doses of meds and is checking liver funtion as well. Must have hormones

tested by obgyn, pap smear and mammo too. Think that is it. See her in 6

weeks. Dr will call with test results when she gets them, and I of course

will update y'all when I know something. Scared to find out a bit. Lupus,

wow. Well must run as I need to take to the store. Will check in

later. Continue praying for me please. Need all I can get.*
