Guest guest
Lane carries a brand called Cacique. Prior to my gastric bypass, cacique was the only brand that made bras big enough to fit me comfortably, and now that I dont HAVE to buy them, I still do, because they are the most comfy I have found... ANYWAYS Cacique makes a bra called " The Bra 6 " . It has removable/adjustable straps, and is adjustable in just about any way imaginable. It was the only bra that at my previous size (I wore a 48DD) I could wear comfortably strapless AND have great support. I have friends who wear a larger bra size and they can wear it strapless too. However, the straps can be changed to be like a normal bra, or shifted so they fit in different ways on the shoulder, or racer back, halter, one strap, a cross strap... alot of ways. Its not easy to explain, just go look at one. The catalog doesn do them justice. They have really good stays that are super comfy in the sides that totally took strain off my shoulders, and honestly, usually the straps are loose on my because of the support in the bra itself. the straps arent even truly needed. Their only downside is the price. They run from $38-48 each, but you can often catch a good sale. I usually buy them 2 at a time because lane bryant runs great buy one get one half off sales at least once a month. But I will say this... if you can only get one.. I have NEVER had a bra last like these do. I have had 2 of them that I wear almost daily for over a year now, and they arent even slightly worn out. They are totally worth the investment. I hope that helps! Good luck, and I really do understand... my boobs used to make my bak hurt sooo bad! since my surgery though, i have lost over 2 cup sizes, so its not so bad anymore. Congrats on your weight loss too though! --Suzanne > > I haven't been able to wear a bra in years and I'm really tired of the pulling on my neck. Guest guest
Heavy sigh... I'm reading thses latest posts about bra sizes etc. I sense that, as I don't have an over abundence in the boob area, I'm in for a deflating when I have the by pass. Contrary to my size I have more of a problem with a bra going around me than with a cup size. So I guess I'll buy some new socks. They have those new puffs with lotion in. That would probably be better. Sorry I don't want to offend or make fun of anyone. Just thinking out loud. Jan > > Lane carries a brand called Cacique. Guest guest
Not being a woman and having to deal with breast support, I wanted to add an observation concerning an article of clothing I once saw for consideration: It had the appearance of an over sized bandana, the top was tied either around the back of the neck or went under the armpits. The bottom could be moved above or below the waist depending on personal comfort and appeared to offer reasonable support. Has anyone else seen this type of garment, what is it called and would it offer comfortable support?

Guest guest
Clearer we need a lock on this women's room door! ; ) Thanks for your help, . I'm not sure whether it would be supportive, but it definitely would not work with my neck. I would definitely be interested in finding out more about it though, if anyone else knows more about it. > > Not being a woman and having to deal with breast support, I wanted to > add an observation concerning an article of clothing I once saw for > consideration: > > It had the appearance of an over sized bandana, the top was tied > either around the back of the neck or went under the armpits. Guest guest
Dont worry, its different for everyone I have friends that didnt lose ANY breast size, just circumference (sorry I dont know what to call it... the length around your chest) I went from a DD to a c, and from a 48 that was tight to a 38.. so one loss was defnately larger than the other, but bear in mind, if you arent very large in that area, you probably dont have much fat there, just breast tissue, so you might not get any smaller in your cup size. Everyone distributes weight differently > > > > Lane carries a brand called Cacique.
