How to describe Fibro Pain, next time someone asks me

If it is a female asking me to describe the pain (or claiming I have no Pain) I

will say " Do

you remember the wosrt pain you ever had from your menstrual period? Well

imagine that

pain is in every muscle in your body, and imagine you still have PMS symptoms at

the

same time " ........ " Now will you please give me some pain medication? "

Not sure what I would say to a male Doc--they often have a hard time imaging

what

menstrual period pain is like, although they may notice that the females in

thier life seem

insane every month or so.

Sorry, I have no idea how a male with FM could describe the pain to a male Dr -

other than

" kicked in the groin. "
