Hi Y'all,

I don't have any reaction to aspartame. It may be bad for me, but I don't

notice any symptoms. I stopped drinking diet coke years ago when the news was

saying bad things about aspartame. I stopped for at least 10 months and never

noticed any difference - although it may have been better for my body, I don't

know.

I drink tons of water. Twice I have had to cut my consumption of water down

to one liter a day for a week or two because I was drinking too much water.

There really is such a thing as being ill from drinking too much water. I was

almost hospitalized before the doctor finally figured out what was wrong with

me. So now I have to make sure I don't drink over the 8 to 10 glasses that is

recommended. I love the taste of water. I have a Brita filter and I think it

makes any water taste so delicious.

I also drink those new vitamin waters when they are on sale - the flavored

ones. I really like those too, but will probably have to cut them out soon

because of the money.

Anyway I still have a diet coke every once in a while. I particularly like

one with popcorn.

Try Water.

Rubbermaid makes 1/2 liter and 1 liter drinking bottles with a flip top lid.

Look on the bottom of any plastic container for a triangle with a number in it.

If the # is 1,

3 or 7 don 't buy it (same goes for baby bottles and sippi cups) Plastic

products with these

#s leach poison into the liquid especialy when heated or used repeatedly. There

has been

alot on the news about this recently.

The new Rubbermaid bottles (you can get them at Rite Aid) have a 5 in the

triangle- this is

safe. Water can be flavored with a small amout of juice if you want something

sweet-

apple or fruit punch work good.

We all need to be drinking A LOT of water. Especialy if we get muscle spasms or

are on

meds.

Live long and prosper,

Cassandra.
