Guest guest
hey Marti, I was going from on illness to the next from christmas until about two weeks ago. I couldn't do much on line and my mailbox was so full that it was running very slow. Then my server was updating so I was even more behind. Right now I'm stressing over my hearing on Tuesday. My birthday was Monday and i seem to be getting back on track other than the hearing stress. I'm going to a six week course at the hospital called living well rhode island. It is ways to cope with chronic illnesses and and get your live on the right track for you. It has been positive. After I went to class yesterday I went to see my neice who was admitted to ICU Monday. she just got out of rehab and staying with her mom's mother and sister afterwards because she was in the icu with the same problem. She has lupus. they found out after her daughter died. She was only 1yr and had multiple birth defects because of my nieces undiagnosised lupus. She was finally dx when she got pregnant again and almost died. She almost died with her last icu trip because her lupus is effecting her lungs and they had to put her on a resterator. She is back on a resporator again. They haven't said she is going to die yet this time. I just talked to her about 2weeks ago and she was telling me about her weeding olans and to expect my invitation and not she is back in icu. The poor girl just turned 25 last month. Quess what she is still waiting to get her ssi. Sent some prayers our way and for my poor nephew who has been vomiting since last summer and they still don't no why and he is now failure to thrive because he was a bean pole before and now has lost so much weight that they put him on a high calorie diet so they don't have to put in a J tube. Good news is the weather's been great so I've walked a little and did a little gardening. Little means about 10minutes at a time but at least it is something.
