Guest guest
Monday Morning aka Mental Morning As you can tell by my recent posts: I'm a couple of bricks shy of a full load A couple of cans short of a six-pak Not firing on all 8, 6, or 4 cylinders (depending on what you drive) Am the poster boy for Lobotomy Today
Guest guest
I'll be right there with you in my thoughts and my prayers. I hope the injections are not too painful and work wonders. Doctors insist on patients not having anything to eat or drink before anesthesia so the patients won't throw up on them. When I had my last surgery I was already checked into the hospital and in my room when an emergency came up and my surgery was rescheduled for the next morning. The doctor said I could go home or be there at 6 am the next morning. I elected to stay since it was already late afternoon. He had a meal sent up to me then and said not to eat or drink again after the meal. While I was there all day and night twiddling my thumbs a PA came in to talk to me and while we were talking he said that there was no reason he had ever seen for patients to not eat before surgery. So I had a snack during the night. No repercussions at all. They usually put something in the IV that settles your stomach anyway, at least in operations. The only time I've thrown up in a hospital was when I had my first child and was in labor for over 24 hours, the epidural didn't work and I started throwing up with the pain lasting so long. Major contractions but wouldn't dilate. I was still throwing up in the delivery room. Things were so different 34 years ago. I have what sounds like that same pain under my left shoulder blade. That is one of my worst places and I have it a lot. It just drives me crazy. Even the pain med doesn't make it go away. I love your graphics on the Place Vent Here site. I wish they would show up here. Good luck today, Marti vh herbaladysfriends@...> wrote: [image: Good Morning Comments, Good Morning Myspace Comments, Myspace Good Morning Graphics]http://www.funmunch.com/comments/good_morning/comment_03.shtml> *How are my favorite people today?
