Hi Phyllis - First of all, welcome to our FaMily. Our arthritis water program

is through our Y. The class is free as long as you have a membership. And

therefore, you can attend as you wish. I had really awful periods, too, before

being on the pill.

Have you ever tried going on birth control pills?

Okay, this is going to sound like a really strange question, but one of my own

fears about starting a water program is constantly having to cancel appts due to

my period. I have them very heavy and painful and have never been comfortable

swimming while I have it. What do others do?
