Tell me your secret. My surgery is scheduled for the 10th of Jan.

I'm nervous as He--but hanging tough.

From a women's point of view, your children watching you lose weight

will make them so proud of him, and proud to show off their new

daddy's figure. Have you bought or read the book " weight loss surgery

for summies " I'm just finishing it, and it was wonderful in

explaining about the procedure, risk and things to do to help yourself

before and after, also added with what your doctors tell you this book

can be a help in reminding you to do the things you need to do after

surgery.

You know you've heard them, eat slow, chew, chew chew, and sip, sip.

I don't think those things can be enforce enough. I think I'm going

ot make a huge poster, with those words as a big reminder to me, as

I'm a fast eater, and a big gulper.

The book also helps you to understand some peoples attitudes when they

see you have lost large amounts of surgery and gives suggestions on

how to handle this. I know my two sister in laws will give me a hard

time, and tell me how bad I'm looking all to stop my weight loss

because they fear that folks will look at them, and ask if she can do

it why can't you? Its silly but folks get those attitudes. You will

run into them.

Hugs and best wishes
