Guest guest
I just bought the New Balance 926. It's supposed to be one of the best shoes for PF. I've had them for about a week. They do give me a lot of support , but they are hard on the inside. That's why I ordered the Pinnacle Power Step to go inside. Funny, I've heard Birkenstocks aren't good shoes for PF.........I personally can't wear them because they are to hard. Ten minutes in them and I'm crippled for the day. It's frustrating trying to figure out how to take care of ourselves when Dr.'s give out such different info. Jill Re: Comfy shoes??? , It does take a bit of time to break them (the Birkenstocks). They start out hard for a time but then the more that you wear them the softer it will get, unlike other kinds of shoes that do just the opposite. As for the price, some of the sandals are very reasonable depending on the style you look for. Some of them cost about the same as the regular Crocs. I have a pair of the regular Crocs, the Beach style (their original product line) that I really like. I've heard that New Balance is another kind of shoe that is supposed to be pretty good. I have a kind of tennis shoe made by a company called Asics. They have gel in them as well which makes them very comfortable for me. I have never used the shoes thru the RX section of Crocs but I'm considering it maybe because I have to wear orthotic inserts. Here's the link to their site if you would like to check out their product lines: http://www.CrocsRX.com Kristy Co-Owner __________________________________________________________ OMG, Sweet deal for Yahoo! users/friends:Get A Month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost. Guest guest
, I hadn't heard of diabetic crocs - where does one find those??? I do know that Birkinstocks, while pricey, are comfortable. My sister is a nurse, has scoliosis that is non-correctable and she has had no problems over the last 12 yrs (although truthfully, I think she could be at the beginning of fibro because she aches alot and her back bothers her a lot). Good luck on your shoe journey. When your feet hurt, nothing seems to help. I did find (thru Avon) a pair of memory foam slippers that are awesome. They make my feet feel good too! Guest guest
I wear a brand of Crocs, not name brand, but they are the most comfy shoes I own. I have foot pain and these are the only ones I can wear. > Okay - I have GOT to get comfy shoes for work. Guest guest
That's why I went with the crocs - and I did order the power steps also. I have several pairs of NB and I love them. But I need something softer at times when my feet are acting up. hugs jill larion jilllarion@...> wrote: I just bought the New Balance 926. It's supposed to be one of the best shoes for PF.
