Guest guest
Thanks Pielet. Where do you find the Fibroplex? Also, where do you find the Sympathical's Fibromyalgia lotion? I'm always open to new ideas. What kind of doctor gave you the injections? Hi Ruth, I did the water aerobics for arthritics when I was first diagnosed. I think it helped, but the people all complained so much about how horrible they felt (none of them had FM), that I started to become very negative and " un-hopeful " about my pain. So after 3 rounds (about a year or so), I stopped going. I also tried acupuncture (not very helpful for me, though I know others who had better results), massage (felt good at the time, but no lasting effects), and homeopathic injections of Traumeel into the trigger spots (a little effective). For a long time I was taking Fibroplex (nutritional supplements) and that really helped almost immediately. Then I got lazy and stopped taking them. When I went back to it, it didn't seem to work anymore, but maybe the pills were just too old. Maybe I'll try them again... About 3 years ago I found Sympathical's Fibromyalgia lotion and that has worked pretty well. On my very bad days, I'll pull it out and I do get some substantial relief. It's a small bottle, but a tiny bit goes a very long way. It's just very hard to find. Can't wait to hear others' experiences!
