Guest guest Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 is EVIL! I live in Hawaii, and we normally have some of the cleanest, easiest air to breathe.. But about a week.. ish? ago.. some of the hot spots on the Big Island's volcano started goin nuts.. and we've had some of the worst vog(valcano fog ) ever , that ive seen in 20+ years of living here.. Everyones affected by it even people who dont really have allergies. All my kids are on inhalers.. One day the visibility was so bad, you couldnt see five miles. from volcanic fog, blown from three islands away! Its successfully rendered me completely incoherent and nonfunctional, despite allergy meds, sinus sprays, and my pain has been laughing at my pain meds.. Which usually means if i want to not hurt i get to go into the doctor and get a shot of demorol, which means ER.. which is almost as painful as that actual pain itself, and with the ER here its never a garauntee you'll get a doctor who 1. believes you 2. cares. The nice thing is the vog seems to finally be moving out, now if i can get the crud inside my sinuses to do the same life would be peachy! LOL. And thats my rant. anyways, thats where I've been.
